HAALAND WANTS GOALS IN 2022
Erling Haaland goes in search of his first goals of 2022 tonight when Borussia Dortmund host surprise package Freiburg tonight. Haaland didn't score but had a hand in all three goals as Dortmund hit back from 2-0 down to beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2 last weekend. The result, coupled with leaders Bayern Munich's 2-1 home loss to Borussia Mönchengladbach, enabled second-placed Dortmund to close the gap to six points.
DIGNE HAS A CRACK AT RAFA
Lucas Digne has aimed a parting shot at Everton boss Rafa Benitez with the Aston Villa-bound defender posting an emotional farewell message to Toffees fans ahead of his move. The French full-back, 28, is on the verge of joining Villa in a 25-million Pound deal after dropping down the pecking order at Goodison Park following reports of a rift with Benitez.
