Lecce v Fiorentina: Lecce’s return to Serie A has already seen them thumped 4-0 at AC Milan on the opening weekend of the new Italy Serie a season.

Lazio v Bologna: Lazio have won four of the last six meetings between the two clubs.

FC Cologne v St Pauli: Newly-promoted St Pauli won away on the first weekend of the Bundesliga season but then lost their last match at home. Cologne have lost both their opening matches.

Getafe v Levante: Getafe have won three of their last four encounters with Levante.

Sporting Gijon v Mallorca: Sporting began the new Spanish season with a 4-0 thumping in their last match while Mallorca held Real Madrid to a goalless draw.

Real Zaragoza v Malaga: Three of their last four head-to-head match-ups have ended in draws.

Villarreal v Espanyol: In the last four matches between the two sides, just one goal has been scored – by Villarreal.

Sevilla v Deportivo La Coruna: After shock early elimination from the Champions League preliminaries, Sevilla bounced back to begin the new Spanish season with a 4-1 win at Levante. Deportivo were held at home in their first match of the new campaign.
